Authorship

Jorge García Aibar, AI Governance & Privacy Engineer. Sole author of the Body of Knowledge, website, datasets and project materials. LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jorgara

The Thesis is the sole exception. It is co-authored by Jorge García Aibar and Aurélie Pols, Responsible AI (EU/Global), Privacy & Data Governance (v0.1–v0.5.0). LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/aureliepols

Accepted substantive contributions are credited below but do not change the authorship of the Body of Knowledge or other project materials. Home: https://aigovernanceengineer.com · source repository github.com/losanchos5/aige.

How to contribute

Contributors may correct or substantially revise a chapter or pattern and are credited by name. To contribute:

  1. Read STYLEGUIDE.md. Every chapter, 00 to 23, is drafted; contributors extend and sharpen them, add patterns as files under bok/patterns/ (STYLEGUIDE §4), or propose new chapters from OUTLINE.md.
  2. Write it to the template. Every factual claim needs a [n] citation tagged primary, secondary or reported, with a matching row in sources/SOURCES.md under that chapter’s section.
  3. Open a pull request. Add yourself to the Contributors list below in the same PR.
  4. Keep the voice practitioner-direct, name categories rather than vendors, and never invent a figure. Respect the BRIEF blocklist recorded in STYLEGUIDE.md §7.

Substantive fixes (a corrected fact, a sharper argument, a better source) are also credited, in the Contributors list.

Roles and credit

Three roles touch the text. None of them changes the authorship stated above unless that is expressly agreed in writing.

  • Author. Writes and maintains the text, decides what is published in each release and answers for every claim in it. The author role is held as stated under Authorship.
  • Reviewer. Reads a chapter or a dataset for a named version before it is released, against its sources and STYLEGUIDE.md: every claim supported by the source it cites, each source carrying the right verification tag (primary, secondary or reported), every “as of” date current, every mapping labelled illustrative, not a claim of conformity. A reviewer records findings as issues or pull-request review comments; the author records how each one was resolved. A reviewer discloses any commercial interest in a vendor, product or standard the reviewed text names.
  • Contributor. Anyone whose accepted issue or pull request changes the substance of the text: a corrected fact, a new or better source, a new pattern, obligation row, glossary term or case.

How credit is given:

  1. Contributors are listed under Contributors below, one line each: name as they wish to appear, an optional link, and what they contributed with the version it shipped in.
  2. Reviewers are listed under Reviewers below once a review is complete, one line each: name, role or organisation (optional), what they reviewed and for which version, the date the review closed and any interest they disclosed. The line credits the review; it does not say the reviewer endorses every claim in the text.
  3. Anyone may decline credit or ask to be listed by initials. Typo and formatting fixes are welcome and stay credited in the repository history rather than in these lists.
  4. Signing the Thesis (below) is an endorsement, not a review, and is listed separately.

None yet. This section lists people who have made substantive corrections or additions.

Signatories

Signing the Thesis means you endorse The AI Governance Engineering Thesis: its definition, values and principles. Signatories are practitioners and organisations who support the discipline; signing does not require writing a chapter.

To sign: open a pull request that adds a line to the list below, in the form:

- Name, role / organisation (optional), LinkedIn or GitHub link (optional)

Add yourself at the end of the list. Keep it to one line. By signing you confirm you are adding your own name and that the entry contains nothing confidential.
