# Rollback criteria

The conditions, written into the rollout plan before a release stage starts, under which the pipeline returns to the previous version automatically: a floor breached against the control group, a disagreement or override rate above a threshold, a severity-1 event. A criterion set after the metric moved is a negotiation, not a control.
